About M&A adviser Radu Momanu

Radu’s background is in engineering and business administration. He has been not only a consultant but also a top tier executive in a multinational company. Radu has successfully closed more than 30 transactions with a cumulated value in excess of € 500 mn for private, public and government organisations (both sell and buy mandates) mostly in Romania but also in other countries.

Experience areas:

Radu has an MSc in electrical engineering with a major in microelectronics (Bucharest Polytechnics University) and an MBA (Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest and Universite de Quebec a Montreal). Radu’s experience is mixed: he was a Corporate Finance and M&A adviser as well as senior executive with a multinational industrial company.

Radu has been in charge of both buy and sell mandates, most of them cross-border transactions involving European companies acquiring Romanian targets. Radu was involved in all stages of the transactions, from sales to valuation, DD and negotiation of complex structures and contracts.

Radu has developed particular experience in the fields of building materials, retail and distribution of pharmaceutical products, financial services, IT&C, etc. Currently, Radu’s main clients are local entrepreneurs looking to either raise capital or sell their businesses.
