Frits holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (University of Technology Eindhoven, the Netherlands) and an MBA (Catholic university of Leuven, Belgium) and has been an independent M&A Consultant and Interim Manager since 2008.

Frits Verheesen started as an interim manager in 2008 in the area of electronic control systems and mobile machine construction. In this field he has gathered experience in General Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance and Operations.

Experience in the field of plastics:

1. I am a chemical engineer from Eindhoven University of Technology. My focus in the last part of my studies was in the area of plastics. My master’s thesis was on electron beam radiation of PE/PP-polymer blends in order to shape the characteristics of these blends (tear, impact strength, etc).

2. As an M&A adviser I have done some projects in the field of plastics:

• I have been looking for European companies (mainly France, Spain) producing products using glass fiber reinforced plastics on the basis of a buy-side mandate.
