CONJECT an European software company to support infrastructure lifecycle management (ILM) in the construction and real estate industries, today announces its acquisition of French software specialist Wapp6. Through the acquisition, CONJECT extends its capabilities to include dedicated inspection and defects management via mobile platforms.

Wapp6 is a software house based in Paris. With core competencies in developing mobile applications combined with intimate knowledge of the real estate and construction sectors, Wapp6 is the market leader in inspection and defects management solutions in France, with 30,000 active users. Headquartered in Cologne, Germany, the company employs approximately 2,800 staff. SQS has offices in Germany, the UK, Egypt, Finland, France, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa and the US. In 2012, SQS generated revenues of 210 million Euros.

With the strategic acquisition of a majority stake in Thinksoft, SQS is strengthening its industry coverage and increasing its focus on banking and financial services, with the addition of offshore capacity, including highly qualified consultants and software testers. In India, SQS currently conducts testing mainly for clients in the manufacturing, retail and logistics, telecommunications and gaming sectors.
