It is currently strong in FTL and groupage deliveries in its home countries. Hence it is looking to buy a medium or larger sized forwarding and warehousing company in the Balkan to serve its customer base. Preferably the management is strong and wants to continue growing the company in a larger structure.
The company is active in road forwarding, transportation and warehousing. The company has a large warehousing network for domestic distribution. The company is interested in buying a freight forwarding company in the Balkan that has strong warehousing capabilities. Their ideal scenario is to find outfits with turnover between 20m and 50m Euro. The buyer wants a full ownership (preferably 100%) or a Joint Venture.

The countries of interest (in order of importance) are Croatia, the Balkan in general, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine or Russia. The focus should be on warehousing and logistics. Domestic distribution is also of a high interest as well as cold/ temperature controlled distribution. Road forwarding has the preference but can be combined with some sea and air. However, the business to be acquired does not need to be purely forwarding stand-alone. It needs to be combined with logistics with preferably the possibility to build domestic distribution for ambient or fresh products. LTL transport is preferred. The company for sale should be asset light with a very limited or no own trucks.
The company has a lot of experience in its home countries with its business model and wants to copy this to new countries located on the Balkan.
