Activities and products of a target

The target company’s core business should preferably be PET bottles recycling (post-industrial and/or post-consumer). The target should be able to create materials that will be used to create new raw materials in the form of washed and grinded flakes for the plastic industry. The company should be well established on the market, start-up-phase projects will not be considered.

The recycling and processing plant of the company should be located in Europe and equipped with operating and well-maintained machinery and provided with all necessary permits. The processing plant has to have sufficient capacity or should have the possibility to increase capacity for future growth. It would be of great added value if the company had already established a management team, with limited dependency on the current owner. Specific (technical) knowledge of the process is a must.

The company has to be financially healthy and profitable; ideally, the target should generate between 500k – 2 million EUR EBITDA annually.

The buyer intends to buy 100% of the share capital in the target company. However, depending on the specific case a partial acquisition is not excluded in advance. The buyer has sufficient financial resources for the acquisition of the company as well as to facilitate the growth of the company.
