Associate members are people that are active in the area of M&A with knowledge in a technical area like tax, legal or valuation. They can also have important knowledge of a country or industry. Through the associated members CFIE can offer all the required process competences and serve clients better. However, it is important to note that associated members are no M&A project managers and don’t work directly on the management of M&A projects. They can be approached by the regional offices in case specific industry, country or technical knowledge is required. In that case they work as independent external consultants.
