Keith has been involved in the software industry since 1981 and has a long and varied career in the UK, Europe and the USA. After setting up International Computer Programs (ICP) in the UK in 1981, Keith served on the software products committee of the CSSA . In 1983 Keith joined the newly formed Sterling Software and was promoted to Sales Manager , International Product Manager and finally as Vice President of the Storage Management division , located in Sacramento California with full P and L responsibility for this $45 million division.

In 1992 Keith acquired a major interest in New Era Systems Ltd, a Canadian software company. Keith set up the US operations with regional offices in Chicago and Boston as well as the Distribution network throughout Europe. New Era was eventually acquired by Interlink Inc. In 1994 Keith returned to Europe and briefly worked for Blyth Software setting up their German subsidiary in Hamburg.
Keith initially facilitated the creation of European operations for Silicon Valley Software companies and early clients included; Red Brick, Diversified Systems, Brio Technology, Sagent and Applix. However, increasingly the demand for services was arising from European clients wishing to enter the USA and other European markets. These clients included Adaytum, Cyrano, Selligent, USU and Knowledge Management.
In recognition of Keith’s unique experiences in the global software industry, Keith is a regular seminar speaker on all aspects of global expansion and conducted national tours with Intellect to reach local software companies who wished to gain knowledge on overseas expansion. Keith is well renowned for his energetic and enthusiastic speaking style that is both entertaining and dynamic. Keith frequently publishes on all aspects of the software industry and regular articles appear in newsletters and on the Intellect web site.
Keith is active in the Enterprise Software market and has facilitated the trade sales of several privately owned companies in the UK, Europe and China. Keith has also acquired companies on behalf of both Private and publicly quoted companies in virtually every sector of the IT Industry.
Besides software, Keith is a keen and active skier and golfer, fanatical Southampton FC supporter and enjoys good wine and travels extensively. When time permits he also enjoys painting landscapes and abstract art.
