About Jörg Traumann

M&A advisor Joerg TraumannJörg Traumann brings to gather corporate, entrepreneurial and M&A experience. In his corporate career he served at Bosch/Blaupunkt Group as Directeur Commercial in France, as Director Business development in North America and Asia being responsible for M&A transaction, Managing Director for Daimler /AEG Mobile Communication Division and as Managing Director for Rowenta (household appliances). Leaving Rowenta he founded his own company and set up through organic growth and acquisition and restructuring of distressed companies a group of companies in the software and engineering industry. After the sale of his companies he supports SME’s in succession planning, Mergers & Acquisitions and restructuring projects and is actively supporting and investing in start-ups.

Skills & Experience

Joerg started as an industrial manager and studied in parallel to his professional career at Fernuniversität Hagen, Kellogg Northwestern University and RAC and holds an MBA and degrees in marketing as well as in restructuring and insolvency management. He has a vast experience in international accounting, tax structuring, corporate law, - finance and transaction concepts and has an international deal track record with medium sized transactions in Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, USA. Today he is mainly supporting German companies on the sell side, international companies on the buy side, using his international network to strategic buyers and investors.

Key skills are succession planning, M&A, distressed M&A and restructuring of companies to a growth path as well as company valuation and transaction concepts.
